Mitsubishi Electric FY25 profits soar; share repurchase announced

** Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TSE:6503) announced strong consolidated financial results for fiscal year 2025, with revenue reaching JPY 5,521.7 billion, a 5% increase year-on-year, and operating profit surging 19% to JPY 391.8 billion. Net profit attributable to Mitsubishi Electric Corp. stockholders rose 14% to JPY 324.0 billion. These record highs were primarily attributed to growth in the Infrastructure and Life segments, alongside improvements in the Semiconductor & Device segment.
