Lasertec's Q3 results soar amid AI investment boom

Lasertec Corporation (TSE:6920) announced robust consolidated financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. Net sales reached JPY 168.835 billion, a 7.4% increase year-over-year, with operating income surging by 36.5% to JPY 79.291 billion. Net income attributable to owners of the parent company rose by 26.9% to JPY 52.694 billion. This growth was fueled by brisk investment in AI-related fields, offsetting softer demand in smartphones and PCs. Semiconductor-related product sales reached JPY 133.568 billion, while service revenue increased significantly to JPY 31.052 billion.
