ANA Holdings delays Nippon Cargo Airlines subsidiary date

ANA Holdings Inc. (TSE: 9202) announced a further change to the effective date for its simplified share exchange to make Nippon Cargo Airlines Co., Ltd. (NCA) a wholly-owned subsidiary. The new effective date is now set for May 23, 2025, revised from the previously scheduled date of May 1, 2025. This postponement is attributed to delays in securing approvals from Chinese regulatory authorities concerning the business combination. ANA Holdings is consolidating NCA's balance sheet and income statement from the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026. The impact on ANA’s financial performance for the fiscal year ending March 2026 and beyond is still under review, and further disclosures will be made as necessary. The company had previously disclosed the intended share exchange on July 10, 2023, with subsequent updates on September 26, 2023, January 25, 2024, March 22, 2024, June 10, 2024 and March 21, 2025. The agreement for this change was executed on April 25, 2025.
