Yamaha Motor adds Robotics Plus as specified subsidiary

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. [TSE:7272] announced today that Robotics Plus Limited (RPL), a New Zealand-based company specializing in automated agricultural solutions, will become a specified subsidiary. This change is triggered by an indirect capital injection into RPL through Yamaha Motor's U.S. subsidiary, Yamaha Agriculture Inc. The investment will increase RPL's capital to NZD 114,192,162.57, representing 11.2% of Yamaha Motor's capital. Yamaha Agriculture Inc. will hold 100% of the voting rights in RPL. RPL's primary business activities include the development and sale of automated apple packing machines and autonomous vehicles for agricultural applications. Yamaha Motor anticipates that this transaction will have a minor impact on its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending December 2025.
