Nihon Kohden announces director changes; Takashi Tamura to retire

Nihon Kohden Corporation announced that its Board of Directors has approved changes to its leadership, following a resolution passed on April 23, 2025. Takashi Tamura will retire from his role as Representative Director due to health reasons at the conclusion of the 74th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on June 26, 2025, at which point he will become an advisor. The company will also add Kazuhiro Kato as a Corporate Director and Mamoru Morita as an Outside Director. Tadashi Hasegawa and Hidemitsu Sasaya will retire as Corporate and Outside Directors, respectively, on the same date. The company affirmed that it will notify the Tokyo Stock Exchange of the appointment of Mr. Morita as an independent director. The announcement included a list of board and management composition changes as of June 26, 2025.
