Ahresty revises downward full-year profit forecast amid impairment losses

Ahresty Corporation (TSE:5852) announced a revision to its full-year consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, due to the anticipated recording of extraordinary losses. The company expects to record an impairment loss of approximately JPY3.0 billion at its U.S. subsidiary, Ahresty Wilmington Corporation, stemming from lower productivity due to high personnel turnover and increased manufacturing costs. Additionally, an impairment loss of around JPY0.3 billion is expected on dies held by the company and other consolidated subsidiaries.
