UEX ups full-year earnings, announces special dividend

Uex announced revisions to its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, citing higher-than-expected profits from its engineering business and lower administrative expenses. The company now anticipates sales of JPY 50.3 billion, operating profit of JPY 1.77 billion, and net profit attributable to shareholders of JPY 930 million. This represents an increase in net profit of JPY 100 million, or 12%, compared to the previous forecast. In addition, Uex declared a special dividend of JPY 7 per share to commemorate its 70th anniversary. Combined with the ordinary year-end dividend of JPY 18, this brings the total year-end dividend to JPY 25 per share and total annual dividend to JPY 40.
