T&D Holdings completes treasury share acquisition program

T&D Holdings (TSE:8795) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of treasury shares, concluding the program initiated under a board resolution from May 15, 2024. Between April 1, 2025, and April 11, 2025, the company acquired 2,265,800 shares of common stock for a total consideration of JPY6,247,669,750 through open-market repurchases. This acquisition was part of a larger plan to acquire up to 50,000,000 shares for up to JPY50 billion between May 23, 2024, and May 13, 2025. As of April 11, 2025, the total cumulative number of acquired treasury shares under this resolution reached 18,410,500 shares, with a total cumulative acquisition amount of JPY49,999,843,845. The acquisitions align with Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act of Japan and Article 31 of the company's Articles of Incorporation.
