Studio Alice FY25 profits rise despite slight revenue dip

Studio Alice today announced its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending February 2025. Revenue totaled JPY 35.598 billion, a 2.2% decrease year-over-year, but operating profit increased by 32.3% to JPY 3.021 billion, and recurring profit rose 31.4% to JPY 3.051 billion. Net profit attributable to the parent company shareholders increased by 17.9% to JPY 1.365 billion. The company attributes the improved profitability to efforts in its core photography business, with cost optimization efforts and differentiation from competitors. For the upcoming fiscal year ending February 2026, Studio Alice projects revenues of JPY 33.780 billion, operating profit of JPY 2.870 billion, recurring profit of JPY 2.870 billion, and a net profit of JPY 1.450 billion. The company will pay a year-end dividend of JPY 50 per share.
