Fuji records extraordinary losses, revises full-year forecasts downward

Fuji Co., Ltd. (TSE: 8278) announced it expects to record extraordinary losses and has revised its consolidated financial results forecasts for the fiscal year ended February 28, 2025. The company will record a JPY 4,276 million impairment loss on non-current assets related to store assets, with total impairment losses for the year reaching JPY 4,839 million. Specifically, JPY 4,143 million will come from supermarkets. Additionally, Fuji plans to record a JPY 851 million extraordinary loss related to store closings.
