Maeda Kosen completes acquisition, renames Mitsui Chemicals subsidiary

Maeda Kosen (TSE:7821) announced the completion of its acquisition of all shares of Mitsui Chemicals Industrial Products, effective April 1, 2025. The acquired entity has been renamed Maeda Kosen Industrial Products Co., Ltd. The newly acquired subsidiary will focus on the manufacturing, processing, and sales of synthetic resin products, civil engineering materials, building materials, and piping materials. Takahiro Maeda will serve as Chairman and Representative Director, with Akihiro Tachibana as President and Representative Director.
