Chuo Gyorui announces executive reshuffle, new director nominee

Chuo Gyorui announced the resignation of Representative Director Hiroharu Ito, effective June 27, 2025. Ito, currently Chairman and Executive Officer, will assume the role of Senior Advisor. The company's board decided on the leadership change to enable quicker management responses amid shifting market conditions. Concurrently, the board has nominated Junko Watanabe as a new outside director, subject to approval at the upcoming 78th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on June 27, 2025. Watanabe brings a wealth of experience, having previously held executive positions at Mizuho Bank and Joban Kosan, and currently serves as an outside director for JUKI and outside auditor at Kayaba.
