Taiyo Nippon Sanso records impairment loss, revises earnings forecast

Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation (TSE:4091) announced a significant impairment loss and a revision to its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. The company will record an additional ¥15.204 billion ($96 million) impairment loss in the fourth quarter, related to the cancellation of a hydrogen production plant under construction in the United States. This brings the total impairment loss for the project to ¥26.003 billion.
