Elecom delays Nippon Antenna acquisition agreement to August/September

Elecom (TSE: 6750) has updated the expected timeline for concluding a Share Exchange Agreement to acquire full ownership of Nippon Antenna Co., Ltd. The new target is August or September 2025, a shift from the previous target of February or March 2025. This delay is due to the ongoing review of the business combination by the Japan Fair Trade Commission. Elecom had initially announced its intent to acquire Nippon Antenna on April 25, 2024, aiming for a share exchange effective in October-November 2024. The company stated that it will disclose further details upon reaching a definitive agreement and will provide another update if the agreement is not finalized by September 2025.
