Nishitetsu unveils 2025 plan focusing on growth, Fukuoka development

Nishi-Nippon Railroad (TSE:9031) has finalized its 2025 plan as part of its 16th Medium-Term Management Plan, focusing on capitalizing on redevelopment in Fukuoka and the broader Kyushu region. The plan includes a total investment of ¥111.3 billion, with a focus on major projects driving Fukuoka's urban development and expanding both domestic and international operations. The company aims to achieve a consolidated operating profit of ¥25 billion and EBITDA of ¥50 billion by 2025. Key initiatives include ongoing structural reforms, promoting sustainable urban development, expanding growth businesses, and strengthening sustainable management. The grand opening of "ONE FUKUOKA BLDG." on April 24th will be a major milestone, helping to revitalize Fukuoka's city center.
