Aoki Holdings subsidiary investigates possible data breach from cyberattack

Aoki Holdings (TSE:8214) announced further details regarding the cyberattack on a server belonging to its subsidiary, Kaikatsu Frontier Inc. The breach, which occurred in January 2025, potentially exposed the personal information of 7,290,087 individuals, including members of Kaikatsu Club, FiT24, and FiT24 Indoor Golf. The compromised data may include full names, addresses, birth dates, membership details, and transaction histories. While investigations continue, the company states that drivers' licenses, credit card data, e-mail addresses and passwords used for membership applications were not compromised. Aoki Holdings is notifying affected individuals and has implemented enhanced security measures, including software revisions, new security software, patches, and reinforced website monitoring. The company currently foresees no revisions to its earnings forecast as a result of this incident.
