Sumitomo Rubber: Silchester International reduces stake

Sumitomo Rubber Industries (TSE:5110) announced today that Silchester International Investors LLP has decreased its stake in the company. According to a report filed on March 13, 2025, Silchester International’s holdings have been reduced from 27,109,000 shares (10.33% of total voting rights) to 24,404,400 shares (9.30% of total voting rights). The change stems from a large shareholding report submitted to the Kanto Local Finance Bureau. Sumitomo Rubber has not independently verified the accuracy of the reported shareholdings and states that this change has no special impact on the company's outlook.
