Daiwa House appoints new representative director

Daiwa House Industry (TSE:1925) has resolved to appoint Yoshinori Shimonishi as Representative Director, effective April 1, 2025. Shimonishi, currently serving as Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of the Architectural Business, will assume the new role to promote efficient management through clearer delegation of authority. Concurrently, incumbent Representative Director Keisuke Shimonishi will relinquish his additional role as General Manager of Business Solution Division, while retaining his position as Representative Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer. Shimonishi has been with Daiwa House since 1981, holding various key positions including Director of Fukuoka Branch, General Manager of Kyushu Block, and General Manager of Distribution and Store Business Promotion Department. As of the announcement, Shimonishi owns 29,600 shares of Daiwa House stock.
