Kureha Corporation reports change in major shareholder

Kureha Corporation (TSE:4023) has confirmed a change in its major shareholder composition following the submission of an amendment to a change report by shareholder Aya Nomura and three joint holders. As of February 27, 2025, Aya Nomura no longer holds shares, shifting from 53,526 votes (10.68% of total voting rights) as of February 4, 2025, when they held the second-highest position in shareholder rankings. The company clarified that this change will have no impact on Kureha's consolidated business results. Voting rights calculations exclude treasury stock and are based on the total number of voting rights as of September 30, 2024, adjusted for subsequent acquisitions of own shares.
