MUFG appoints Osawa as representative executive officer

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) [TSE:8306] announced the appointment of Masakazu Osawa as Representative Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2025. Osawa, currently serving as Managing Executive Officer and Group Deputy COO-I, will also assume the role of Group Head, Japanese Corporate & Investment Banking Business Group. This change comes as part of a broader reshuffling of corporate executives. Simultaneously, Seiichiro Akita will relinquish his role as Representative Executive Officer but will maintain his position within the Corporate & Investment Banking Business Group.
