Furukawa Electric announces executive and organizational overhaul

Furukawa Electric (TSE: 5801) announced a series of strategic executive and organizational changes, pending shareholder approval at its June annual meeting. Key changes include the promotion of Satoshi Miyamoto and Aoshima Koji to Representative Directors, effective after the June meeting. Miyamoto will also serve as Corporate Executive Vice President and General Manager of Strategy, and Aoshima will also serve as Corporate Senior Vice President and General Manager of Finance & Accounting.
