Ushio to cancel 15m shares in buyback move

Ushio Electric (TSE: 6925) will cancel 15,000,000 of its treasury shares on March 26, 2025, according to a company announcement. This move, approved by the board of directors, reduces the total number of outstanding shares by 13.95%. Ushio aims to maintain treasury shares at approximately 5% of the total issued shares, annually cancelling any excess.
