Metaplanet buys more bitcoin, boosting holdings to 2,888

Metaplanet Inc. (TSE:3350) announced the purchase of an additional 497 Bitcoin for 6.616 billion yen, as part of its Bitcoin Treasury Operations, bringing its total holdings to 2,888 Bitcoin with an aggregate cost basis of 36.444 billion yen. To fund its Bitcoin accumulation strategy, Metaplanet continues to execute agreements with EVO FUND, including stock aquisition rights, ordinary bonds. Proceeds are allocated towards purchasing Bitcoin. Metaplanet has completed the offering under its "21 Million Plan,". Metaplanet uses metrics like Bitcoin Yield, Gain, and Yen Gain to assess its Bitcoin strategy's performance, despite acknowledging the limitations.
