Takashimaya completes cancellation of 12m treasury shares

Takashimaya Company, Limited (TSE: 8233) announced today the completion of the cancellation of 12,088,900 treasury shares. The cancellation, executed on February 28, 2025, was authorized by a resolution passed at the Board of Directors' meeting on February 13, 2025, and carried out in accordance with Article 178 of the Companies Act. The cancelled shares represented approximately 3.7% of the company's total outstanding shares prior to the cancellation. Following the cancellation, the total number of Takashimaya's issued shares stands at 315,566,316. This move reflects Takashimaya's ongoing capital management strategy.
