Marubeni announces new director and auditor appointments

Marubeni Corporation (TSE: 8002) announced key executive personnel changes following a board meeting held on February 27, 2025. Subject to approval at the 101st Annual General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for late June 2025, the company will appoint four new external directors: Keiji Kojima, Yumiko Kajiwara, Mizuki Iwamura, and Yasuo Fukami. The meeting will also address the departure of external directors Masato Kidera, and Mutsuo Hatano, as well as auditor Takeshi Yoneda and new appointment of auditor Satoru Yokoo. Following the Annual General Meeting in June 2025, current Chairman, Masumi Kakogi, will seek Board approval to appoint president Akira Domoto and Vice President, Kenichiro Okawa, as Representative Directors.
