Itochu ends consideration of Seven & i Holdings acquisition

Itochu Corporation (TSE: 8001) announced today that it is ending its consideration of participating as a strategic partner in the founding family's acquisition proposal for Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. The decision was made public in a statement released on February 27, 2025. The company had been earnestly considering the request to participate in the acquisition.
