Usen-Next Holdings to establish halal food subsidiary

Usen-Next Holdings Co., Ltd. today announced its decision to establish a new subsidiary in Malaysia to capitalize on the growing Muslim population and halal food market. The subsidiary, named Amane Sdn.Bhd., will focus on manufacturing and selling halal foods, operating a food delivery franchise, and providing ASEAN market entry consulting services for Japanese food companies. The initial capital investment is 5,714,285 MYR (200 million yen, using an assumed exchange rate of 1 MYR=35 yen). Usen-Next Holdings will own 100% of the subsidiary, with a tentative incorporation date of September 1, 2025. The company anticipates that the establishment of this subsidiary will have an immaterial impact on the consolidated operating results for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2025.
