Tokyo Gas announces executive appointments and board changes

Tokyo Gas (TSE: 9531) today announced key executive personnel changes to take effect in 2025. The company's board of directors, in a meeting held today, nominated Yuria Komatsu and Yuji Fukasawa as new external directors, subject to approval at the shareholder's meeting in late June 2025. Mami Hikido and Hiromichi Ohno will retire as external directors at the conclusion of the same shareholder meeting. In addition, the board approved several executive officer promotions and new appointments, effective April 1, 2025. Key promotions include Nobuhiro Sugasawa to Senior Executive Officer and Masaaki Murakoshi and Seita Shimizu to Managing Executive Officer. New executive officer appointments include Yukimaro Murata, Kentaro Horisaka, and Kenji Sakurai. There will be executive officer retirements on March 31, 2025, including Satoshi Tanazawa, Tadashi Kado, Hisataka Yakabe and Masahiko Endo.
