Inpex announces changes in leadership, effective March 28

Inpex Corporation (TSE:1605) announced that its board of directors has approved the appointment of Fujii Hiroshi as Representative Director, effective March 28, 2025, pending approval at the upcoming general shareholders meeting and subsequent board meeting. Fujii, currently Vice President and head of the Renewable Energy Division, will continue to hold those responsibilities. Kawano Kenji will retire from the role of Representative Director but remain Vice President, overseeing the Renewable Energy Division and strategic projects. Additionally, Bruce Miller will join the board as an external director, while Nishikawa Tomoo will step down. The company also outlined other changes to its executive officer structure, effective April 1, 2025, including new roles for several senior leaders within its various business units.
