Matsumotokiyoshi third-quarter profit dips slightly amid revenue rise

Matsumotokiyoshi Holdings (TSE:3088) reported revenue of ¥801.52 billion for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, marking a 4.0% increase compared to the same period last year; however, profit attributable to owners of the parent company decreased by 2.5% year-over-year to ¥41.22 billion, with basic earnings per share at ¥100.51. Operating profit increased by 4.9% to ¥61.65 billion, and recurring profit rose by 4.0% to ¥64.92 billion. The company maintained its full-year forecast, projecting revenue of ¥1.05 trillion and profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥52.5 billion, with an expected year-end dividend of ¥21.00 per share. As of December 31, 2024, total assets stood at ¥717.74 billion, and equity attributable to owners of the parent was ¥507.78 billion.
