State Street Corporation increases stake in Karoon Energy to 9.76%

State Street Corporation and its subsidiaries, including State Street Bank and Trust Company and State Street Global Advisors, Australia, Limited, have increased their substantial holding in Karoon Energy Ltd. The previous notice on September 2, 2025, indicated a voting power of 8.72% with 63,865,788 ordinary shares. As of the latest filing on December 19, 2025, their voting power has risen to 9.76%, representing 70,844,600 ordinary shares.

The change in relevant interests involved numerous transactions, predominantly through lending and returning securities for stock lending agreements, as well as various transfers in and out by different State Street entities. Key transactions by State Street Bank and Trust Company included a substantial lend for stock of 4,723,014 ordinary shares on September 1, 2025, and a return of 2,384,538 ordinary shares on September 4, 2025. Collateral received and returned also played a role.

State Street Global Advisors, Australia, Limited, also contributed to the change through various transfers, such as a transfer in of 186,920 ordinary shares on October 31, 2025, and a transfer out of 761,755 ordinary shares on November 11, 2025.
