Soul Patts reduces stake in Peninsula Energy

Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Company Limited (Soul Patts) and its subsidiaries have notified a change in their substantial holding in Peninsula Energy Limited, reducing their voting power from 6.66% to 5.10%. This change was reported on December 10, 2025, with the previous notice given on September 25, 2025. The total number of ordinary shares held by Soul Patts has decreased from 25,197,967 to 20,794,099.

The reduction in stake primarily occurred through several sales transactions between October 15, 2025, and December 12, 2025. Notable sales include 197,967 shares on October 15 at $0.6950, 934,788 shares on November 25 at $0.4513, and a combined 1,808,217 shares on December 12, 2025, at prices of $0.5767 and $0.540732. The total cost of these divestments exceeded $2.1 million.

As a result of these transactions, Soul Patts' current relevant interest stands at 20,794,099 ordinary fully paid shares, representing 5.10% of Peninsula Energy's total voting power, based on 407,618,557 ordinary shares on issue.
