Macquarie Group ceases to be substantial holder in Alligator Energy

Macquarie Group Limited and its controlled bodies corporate, including Macquarie Bank Limited, ceased to be a substantial holder in Alligator Energy Limited on December 9, 2025. The previous notice was given on April 19, 2024. This marks a notable shift in ownership for Alligator Energy.

The change in Macquarie's relevant interest involved numerous transactions, predominantly a mix of stock sales and purchases by Macquarie Bank Limited. A significant number of sales occurred on various dates, including a sale of 100,000 FPO at AUD 0.0555 on April 19, 2024, and multiple sales of 200,000 FPO at AUD 0.057 on April 19, 2024. Conversely, several large purchases were also recorded, such as 300,000 FPO at AUD 0.058 on April 17, 2024, and 512,493 FPO at AUD 0.05 on June 26, 2024. Another notable acquisition was by Macquarie Investment Management Global Limited with 2,976,864 FPO at AUD 0.05 on June 26, 2024.
