Suncorp redeems A$250 million subordinated notes

Suncorp Group Limited (ASX:SUN | ADR:SNMCY) confirmed on December 1, 2025, the completion of the redemption of all A$250 million wholesale, floating rate subordinated notes. These notes were originally issued on September 1, 2020, and the redemption was executed in accordance with their stipulated terms.

Holders of the notes will receive the face value of A$10,000.00 per note, in addition to any accrued interest up to the early redemption date. The interest calculation is based on clause 4.1 of the notes terms, for each note held on the record date of November 23, 2025. All payments are subject to the note terms.

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) provided its written approval for this redemption. Suncorp clarified that this redemption does not imply any future exercise of rights to redeem other outstanding regulatory capital instruments, as any such actions would also require APRA's prior written approval.
