First Sentier Group cuts substantial holding in Steadfast Group

First Sentier Group Limited and its related bodies corporate, including Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc., reported a change in their substantial holding in Steadfast Group Ltd. As of November 21, 2025, their total voting power decreased from 8.09% (89,483,161 fully paid ordinary shares) to 7.07% (78,569,768 fully paid ordinary shares). This represents a notable reduction in their stake in the company.

The change resulted from a series of market transactions, predominantly sales, undertaken by various entities within the First Sentier Group, including First Sentier Investors (Australia) IM Ltd and First Sentier Investors RQI Pty Ltd, between August 29, 2025, and November 21, 2025. These transactions included both purchases and sales of fully paid ordinary shares, as well as adjustments related to borrowed securities.

Notable transactions include large sales by First Sentier Investors (Australia) IM Ltd, such as 1,747,117 shares on September 2, 2025, and 2,000,000 shares on September 29, 2025. Conversely, significant purchases were also recorded, including 2,000,000 shares on August 29, 2025. The net effect of these activities led to the overall decrease in First Sentier Group's substantial holding.
