Soul Patts becomes substantial holder in Deep Yellow

Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Company Limited (Soul Patts) and its subsidiaries became a substantial holder in Deep Yellow Limited (Deep Yellow) on November 18, 2025. This resulted in Soul Patts holding 114,619,544 Deep Yellow shares, representing 11.778% of the total 973,140,172 Deep Yellow shares on issue.

The relevant interest stems from a cooperation deed dated November 18, 2025, between WHSP Holdings Pty Limited, Paradice Investment Management Pty Ltd, and Lexband Pty Ltd as trustee for the Macmillan Super Fund. This agreement grants WHSP Holdings Pty Limited the power to control voting rights attached to the securities held by the associated parties.

Over the four months prior to the notification, Soul Patts’ transactions included several sales in July 2025, totaling A$1,032,668, and a purchase of 125,000 shares for A$238,996.25 on October 20, 2025, leading to a total holding of 10,000,000 shares as of November 18, 2025. Registered holders include HSBC Nominees Aust Ltd, Citicorp Nominees Ltd, JP Morgan Nominees Aust Ltd, WHSP Holdings Pty Limited, and Macmillan.
