Sonic Healthcare options expire, new director appointed

Sonic Healthcare Limited has announced the cessation of 4,546,633 unquoted options (SHLAK) on November 19, 2025, due to expiry without exercise or conversion. Following this cessation, the total number of unquoted SHLAK options on issue now stands at 26,565,775, alongside 227,678 SHLAZ performance rights, while 494,237,953 ordinary fully paid shares (SHL) remain quoted.

In a related development, James Pacey Newcombe was appointed as a director on November 20, 2025. He holds unlisted options over ordinary shares, including 25,000 options issued in 2022 (expiring October 26, 2026, exercisable at $31.59), 40,000 options issued in 2023 (expiring November 29, 2027, exercisable at $28.91), 40,000 options issued in 2024 (expiring May 31, 2028, exercisable at $24), and 40,000 options issued in 2025 (expiring April 17, 2029, exercisable at $25.30).
