Perpetual reduces stake in Nick Scali as director steps down

Perpetual Limited and its related bodies corporate have announced a reduction in their substantial holding in Nick Scali Ltd (ACN 000 403 896). The previous notice, dated July 25, 2025, indicated a voting power of 7.448% (6,370,123 votes). Following the latest change on October 27, 2025, Perpetual's voting power decreased to 6.425% (5,495,120 votes). This change involved numerous sale transactions of ordinary shares by various Perpetual entities, including Perpetual Investment Management Limited (PIML), Perpetual Trustee Company Limited (PTCO), Pendal Fund Services Limited (PFSL), and Pendal Institutional Limited (PIL).

The transactions, which occurred between July 30, 2025, and October 27, 2025, predominantly involved sales, with a few purchases, resulting in a net reduction of Perpetual’s interest. Consideration for these transactions ranged across various amounts, impacting the number of securities and votes affected. For instance, PIML conducted a significant sale of 72,036 shares for $1,389,934.62 on August 4, 2025.

In a separate but related announcement, John Weir Ingram ceased to be a director of Nick Scali Limited on October 29, 2025. As of his last notice on May 31, 2024, John Weir Ingram held 206,387 fully paid ordinary shares through Netwealth Investments Limited <Wrap Services A/C>. He held no securities as a registered holder.
