Challenger limited reduces stake in Qube holdings

Challenger Limited, along with its associated entities, has announced a change in its substantial holding in Qube Holdings Limited, reducing its voting power from 6.15% to 5.04%. This change occurred on October 14, 2025, following a previous notice issued on September 1, 2025. The total number of votes held by Challenger Limited has decreased from 108,836,457 to 89,233,702.

The reduction in Challenger's relevant interest primarily stems from numerous "Sell" transactions of Ordinary Fully Paid securities between September 1 and October 14, 2025. Notable sell transactions include 1,297,945 securities on September 15, 2025, and 1,007,612 securities on October 14, 2025. While the majority of transactions were sales, some "Buy" and "Buy - Transfer" transactions were also noted, such as the acquisition of 1,360,222 securities on September 18, 2025.

Post-change, Challenger Limited's present relevant interests are held through HSBC Custody Nominees (Australia) Limited and BNP Paribas Nominees Pty Limited, with 49,350,554 and 543,075 Ordinary Fully Paid securities respectively.
