Wilson Asset Management reduces stake in Energy One

Wilson Asset Management Group has reported a change in its substantial holding in Energy One Limited (ASX: EOL). The change occurred on October 13, 2025, following a previous notice given on August 28, 2025. The group's voting power in Energy One Limited has decreased from 9.11% (2,853,623 votes) to 8.05% (2,530,372 votes) of the ordinary shares.

The reduction in voting power is a result of several on-market sell transactions across various entities within the Wilson Asset Management Group, including WAM Capital Limited, WAM Microcap Limited, WAM Research Limited, and Botanical Nominees Pty Limited ATF Wilson Asset Management Equity Fund. Notable sales include WAM Capital Limited selling 1,549,973.92 ordinary shares and WAM Microcap Limited selling 258,410.51 ordinary shares on October 13, 2025.

Despite the recent sales, Wilson Asset Management Group retains a significant interest in Energy One Limited. As of the latest notice, WAM Capital Limited holds 1,402,885 ordinary shares, WAM Microcap Limited holds 504,046 ordinary shares, and WAM Research Limited holds 344,068 ordinary shares, among other holdings by associated entities.
