GenusPlus secures $75m in new Western Power contracts

GenusPlus Group Ltd (Genus) has announced additional works totaling approximately AUD75 million from Western Power. This includes AUD50 million for further works under the Clean Energy Link – North (CELN) project, bringing the total value of CELN packages awarded to Genus to approximately AUD390 million. These works involve the design and construction of a new 132kV dual circuit transmission line and related transmission enabling works, with completion expected mid-2027.

Additionally, Genus has secured a new contract valued at approximately AUD25 million for the Network Renewal Undergrounding Power Pilot (NRUPP) project, which focuses on undergrounding existing power networks. Genus managing director, David Riches, expressed satisfaction with the continued growth of their relationship with Western Power, emphasizing the company's commitment to safe and timely project delivery.
