Beach Energy issues new performance rights, some existing rights cease

Beach Energy Limited (ASX:BPT) has issued 903,240 new unquoted performance rights (ASX:BPTAK) on September 30, 2025, under an employee incentive scheme. These rights, which expire on various dates and are subject to transfer restrictions, bring the total number of BPTAK securities on issue to 11,434,803. Key management personnel, Anne-Marie Barbaro and Glenn Watt, received 95,131 and 84,380 of these new performance rights, respectively. The terms for these rights are detailed in Beach's FY25 STI Plan within the remuneration section of its 2025 Annual Report.

Concurrently, the company reported the cessation of 582,011 unquoted securities as of September 30, 2025. This includes 567,673 performance rights (ASX:BPTAK) and 14,338 matched rights (ASX:BPTAL). The cessation occurred because the conditional rights' conditions were not met or became incapable of being satisfied. Following these changes, the total number of BPTAL matched rights on issue stands at 453,962.

As a result of these issuances and cessations, Beach Energy's total quoted ordinary fully paid shares remain at 2,281,333,656. The net effect on unquoted securities is an increase in BPTAK performance rights and a decrease in BPTAL matched rights, reflecting ongoing adjustments to its employee incentive schemes.
