Mayfield secures $20m Brigalow gas plant contract, boosts FY26 outlook

Mayfield Industries has secured an approximate $20 million contract with GE Power Australia Pty Ltd for the Brigalow Gas Peaking Plant in Queensland. This agreement involves engineering, design, manufacturing, factory testing, and delivery of prefabricated Balance of Plant (BOP) electrical modules, reinforcing Mayfield's position as a critical infrastructure provider for Australia's energy security. The contract is expected to contribute positively to Mayfield's FY26 financial performance.

This latest award brings Mayfield's total new contract awards since the beginning of FY26 to approximately $37 million, with total work in hand increasing to $116 million. These figures provide enhanced revenue visibility well into FY26 and beyond. The contracts span diverse sectors including energy generation, renewables integration, energy storage, and network infrastructure, reflecting the company's broad market opportunity and technical capabilities.
