Air New Zealand completes share buyback, including shares from Crown

Air New Zealand Limited has completed the acquisition of 878,164 ordinary shares. This total comprises 430,232 ordinary shares acquired on NZX and ASX, and an additional 447,932 ordinary shares acquired off-market from the Crown. These shares were acquired as part of a board-approved buy-back programme announced on 20 February 2025.

The on-market acquisitions were made at an average price of NZD $0.5985 for shares on NZX and AUD $0.5270 for shares on ASX. The off-market acquisition from the Sovereign in right of New Zealand was priced at NZD $0.5984 per share. All acquisitions were paid in cash and represent 0.0269% of the total class of financial products.

Following these acquisitions, the total number of ordinary shares in the class stands at 3,267,054,608, with 93 shares held as Treasury Stock. The acquired shares on NZX and ASX are scheduled to settle and be cancelled on 08/10/2025, while shares acquired off-market from the Crown will settle and be cancelled on 09/10/2025.
