Australian Retirement Trust no longer substantial holder in Sandfire

Australian Retirement Trust ceased to be a substantial holder in Sandfire Resources Limited on October 2, 2025. This change follows a series of substantial buy and sell transactions in Sandfire shares between June 19, 2024, and October 2, 2025. The previous notice of substantial holding was given on June 19, 2024.

Simultaneously, Sandfire Resources Limited announced a new quotation application for 1,636,175 ordinary fully paid shares with an issue date of August 29, 2025. These shares were issued for nil consideration as a result of the conversion of unquoted zero exercise price options under an employee incentive scheme.

Following this new quotation, Sandfire Resources Limited's issued capital will comprise 460,787,264 quoted ordinary fully paid shares. The unquoted securities include 1,107,201 options expiring on various dates with various prices (SFRAB) and 2,238,370 performance rights (SFRAAE).
