CDC secures 100MW new capacity, boosts Infratil's data centre growth

CDC has confirmed securing approximately 100MW of new contracted capacity, underscoring strong ongoing demand within the Australasian data centre market. Infratil chief executive Jason Boyes noted this aligns with CDC's strategy to deliver large-scale data centre footprints catering to growing customer demand driven by cloud and AI workloads.

This latest announcement provides high visibility for Infratil, indicating CDC is on track to double its FY25 earnings by FY27. With additional contracts signed since May, approximately 95% of forecast lease revenues are now under contract. Infratil remains confident in contracting the remaining capacity, showcasing CDC's ability to attract substantial demand due to its technological advantage.
