K&S Corporation loses long-standing InfraBuild contracts

K&S Corporation Limited (ASX: KSC) has been informed it was unsuccessful in retaining its previously contracted scopes of work with InfraBuild after a competitive tender process. K&S Corporation has provided transport services for InfraBuild, and its predecessors OneSteel and Smorgon Steel, for several decades. The decision by InfraBuild to award these scopes of work to alternate transport providers was driven by commercial considerations, not service issues.

While the exact timing of the cessation is not yet known, K&S Corporation expects the transition to alternative providers to occur before the end of FY26. The company is currently unable to provide detailed guidance on the potential financial impact of this cessation in FY2026.

K&S Corporation plans to work with affected employees to provide further clarity once it receives written notice from InfraBuild regarding the transition timeline.
