Westpac redeems all outstanding capital notes 5

Westpac Banking Corporation today announced the full redemption of all 16,903,383 outstanding Westpac Capital Notes 5 (WCN 5) on September 22, 2025. This action follows the redemption notice issued to WCN 5 holders on July 31, 2025, and means there are no longer any WCN 5 on issue.

All WCN 5 holders on the record date of September 12, 2025, received AUD100 for each WCN 5 on September 22, 2025. In addition to the principal redemption, holders were also paid a final distribution of AUD1.211 per WCN 5, fully franked, on the same date.
