Australian Foundation Investment Company reduces capital via buy-back

Australian Foundation Investment Company Limited (AFI) has announced the cessation of 436,364 ordinary fully paid securities, effective September 17, 2025. This reduction in issued capital occurred as a result of an on-market buy-back conducted by the company.

The securities were purchased between August 25, 2025, and September 11, 2025, with a total consideration paid of AUD 3,195,420.46. This cancellation reflects a strategic move by the company to manage its capital structure.

Following the cessation, the total number of ordinary fully paid securities quoted on the ASX for AFI now stands at 1,261,770,741. The company confirmed that it did pay consideration for the cessation of these securities.
