Ventia secures two major defence base services contracts worth $2.7bn

Ventia (ASX:VNT) has been awarded two Base Services Transformation (BST) packages by the Department of Defence, valued at approximately $2.7 billion over an initial six-year term. These packages include two extension options, potentially extending the total term up to 10 years. The company will deliver Living and Working Services (LWS) in the Northern Territory, Victoria, and Tasmania, as well as Property and Asset Services (PAS) in Western Australia, Victoria, and Tasmania.

These awards represent a third of the total LWS and PAS packages. The announcement follows Ventia's previous award of the national Firefighting Services package in July 2024, the first under the BST program. The new contracts are expected to commence operation from 1 February 2026.
